s MacBook Air 15′ in test? Macotakara.jp reported Apple to be finishing up MacBook Air 15’ test phase, according to asian source, Apple seems already to have finished to develop MacBook Air 15′ LCD test component to add its line-up and to go product develpment of it.

Apple is considered to develop next generation of MacBook Pro which will not have built-in optical-disk drive, then this MBA 15′ test component seems to fill their new drive-less MB line-up.

Apple has  been ordered  to pay $439.7 million to the patent-holding firm VirnetX for infringing on four patented technologies that were apparently used in FaceTime and other iOS apps. While this is the final judgement from the US District Court the case is being argued in, Apple tells  The Verge  that it plans to appeal the ruling — continuing this long-running patent battle, which began back in 2012. VirnetX first filed suit against Apple in 2010, winning $368 million  just two years later . It then  sued again in 2012 , which is the suit that’s being ruled on today. Apple initially  lost the suit , then  filed for a mistrial . It won a new trial, lost that trial, was ordered to pay  around $300 million , then lost some more and is now having that amount upped even further. That’s because a judge found Apple guilty of willful infringement, bumping its payment amount from $1.20 per infringing Apple device to $1.80 per device. Samsung’s new connected tags monitor pets or kids for a week on a single charge

Samsung has something worth your time if you like to keep tabs on kids, pets or other cherished items. The Korea electronics giant just  announced  Connect Tag, a small internet-enabled device that tracks location and lasts a week between charges. In other words, this is a similar offering to existing electronic tagging devices from the likes of Tile,  the U.S. startup that pulled in $25 million  earlier this year and has picked up nearly $60 million from investors to date. Tile offers more flexibility on form factor but Samsung has gone for the clean white look with the Connect Tag, which measures 4.21 cm x 1.19 cm. The company puts that one-week battery life down to its use of narrowband network technology — a standard that optimizes power usage through more conservative use of data — and it claims its tags are the first of their kind to utilize it.
